As China's inbound tourism continues to peak this summer, the Badaling section of the Great Wall in Beijing has been seeing wave of international travelers. Known for the saying, "He who has never been to the Great Wall is not a true man," the site attracts growing numbers of globetrotters eager to experience the iconic landmark.

To enhance the experience, the scenic area has rolled out a series of international travel-friendly services. Ticket counters now support cash, mobile payments and international card transactions via point-of-sale machines. A mobile ticketing platform allows foreigners to purchase tickets using passports or permanent residence permits. It has also strengthened its multilingual environment, offering standardized bilingual signage for emergencies, navigation and safety, ensuring smooth visits for non-Chinese speakers.

China currently offers unilateral visa-free or reciprocal visa exemption policies to citizens of 75 countries. Transit visa-free policies cover 55 countries, with entry permitted through 60 ports across the country, and stays extended to 240 hours (10 days) – making travel to China more accessible than ever.
